HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
First Aid, (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid) This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The first aid course applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace setting. This course was also previously known as Apply First Aid, Senior First Aid, or Level 2.
The first aid course is fully accredited nationally recognised training. This qualification can be used in all States and Territories throughout Australia.
This qualification is considered the industry standard for a range of workplace roles and employment categories.

HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This course is suitable for people who need to conduct annual refresher training, maintain workplace skills or those who simply want to be equipped with a critical life saving skill.
The course will equip individuals with the knowledge and skills required to manage a life-threatening emergency and deliver rescue breathing and cardiopulmonary resuscitation to a person with no signs of life.
You will also learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Personal Protective Equipment including disposable face shields.
